This Datsun 260z/280z to 240z bumper conversion kit is designed to replace the bulky OEM design that comes with the 260z/280z models. The brackets included in this kit are fully adjustable to allow you to dial in your bumper to the rest of your build. If you are looking to have a 280z with 240z bumpers, this kit is for you.

***The Early ’74 260Z option helps to align the bumper mounting to match the indentations in the rear fenders. If there are no indentations in the fenders, you likely need the Late ’74 option. Contact us if you have any questions regarding fitment.

How to Install 240z Bumpers on a 260z/280z with Skillard Conversion Kit

1. Start by removing your factory 260z/280z bumper (front or rear.)
2. Next remove the mount that is attached to the body.
3. After you have removed the old mount, attach the next mount plate to the body.
4. After the new mount plate is installed, attach the second part of the bracket with the provided hardware.
5. Next, adjust the mount to the position and angle you want and tighten the hardware.
6. Lastly attach your bumper to the new brackets and you are complete!
